This weekend is one of those momentus party weekends here in San Francisco. Perhaps the most influential party promoters on the west coast are celebrating their 14th birthday. Spundae is known globally for their parties and their world class productions. From North American tours, reality TV shows, 30,000 person NYE festivals and their huge presence at the SF Lovefest, it's no wonder that that the IDMA (international dance music awards) voted Spundae the #1 club in the USA in 2005. Ever since it was founded in 1993, the Spundae mission has been to bring world class electronic dance music to San Francisco's club scene, and for 14 years, they have been doing exactly that. Time after time, party after party, they have brought the global scene to west coast culture by constantly throwing electronic dance parties like California has never seen before. From the original parties at the now defunkt DV8 to their long run at 1015 Folsom and now Ruby Skye, these guys have thrown a major party nearly every weekend for longer than any other promoters in San Francisco. As if that wasn't enough, Spundae has a huge presence in Los Angeles, Chicago and Las Vegas, always throw huge parties in Miami for WMC and are one of the cornerstones of the San Francisco Lovefest throwing the official after party each year for 10,000+ people.
Guests on the Spundae turntables have included international DJs such as: Sasha, John Digweed, Timo Maas, Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren, Cass, Christopher Lawrence, Tiesto, Pete Tong, Jerry Bonham, DJ Dan, Sandra Collins, Sander Kleinenberg, Deepsky, Ferry Corsten, Max Graham, Infusion, Steve Lawler, Dave Seamen, D:Fuse, Doc Martin, Dieselboy, Carl Cox, DJ Irene, Simply Jeff, Donald Glaude, Lee Burridge and many, many more. With a Dj resume like this, It's safe to say that Spundae has played a significant role in establishing San Francisco as the best club city in America.
This weekend Spundae welcomes intrenational legends Blank and Jones to help them celebrate their anniversary at Ruby Skye.

Dj Marcus is one of the Bay Area's newest rising stars. If you haven't seen him yet, you can bet you will soon, with a new residency at Empire Ballroom in Las Vegas and dj spots in San Francisco and all around the country this upcoming spring.
